Hey,

I have a ext. cab truck and wanted to build a fiberglass box underneath the back seat. My one main question is I am making the bottom and the sides out of glass but the top and front are going to be made of MDF. How do I join the MDF and Fiberglass together to make a air tight seal between the two? And also is this the best way to make the box? I need to fit 4 kicker comp vr's underneath.

Thanks,

Jacob

thanks,
jacob

once fiberglass and resin bonds with mdf it will make a tight seal..but i think i would recomment putting a sealand on all seams anywyas...thats what i'm going to do....also if you had a pic of your cab i could help youplan the box a little better.. i just started my box and it looks great except its leaking a little bit so i need to patch up all holes...kinda fun to work with at the begining but then it becomes a bitch
