how much do you charge for FG setups

how much do u guy's usually charge for FG setups.  For example, speaker pods.   And how much for bigger work, for example custum trunk...  Do you guy's charge per hour or by difficulty of the setup.... Thankx in advance

It really depends. For some basic kick's for mid's and tweets would be around $250. A full custom fiberglass trunk could easily go into the thousands in labor alone. Hell, the half assed box I have in my trunk would go for over $800 in labor alone.Certified Security Specialist

after a while you will know an approximate time it will take to complete. you will also know what you like to use as far as materials. you need to figure out exactly( down to how it will mount, and what screws you will use) to give an accurate quote. the more details you think of before hand, the less surprises you will have when you are doing it. also you want to have a good idea of the amount of sand paper and other disposable supplies you will use on the project. disposable supplies, mistakes, and not planning, are the most common reasons for loss of profit. the general rate for custom work is between 45 and 100 per hour, depending on your reputation and knowledge.
