My truck was a 5 speed Manual tranny which was converted to Auto. It has the original harness which has 2 wires for the revese lights

The lights were never wired. The Auto tranny has a NSS ( which is good) w/ 3 prongs for 3 wires. How can I make this work? to pass inspection

All other lights work.

Thanks in advance.

Do you have a digital multimeter?  Check for continuity between all pins to each other pin.  First in park, then neutral, and then in reverse.  If park and neutral act the same but reverse behaves differently, get me that information and I can get it working for you.

Also check from each connection to chassis ground.

In Park & N no continuity between 1 & 3 #2 has continuity to grd

In R 1 & 3 has continuity. so I think the switch is good

When I jumped the wires in reverse & key on I had one reverse light on. All bulbs are good
