), A buddy of mine bought one and we wired it up like they said, both the amp and the car battery run to the batcap terminals. About 2 days later, we were driving around and his car just died. The batcap drained all the charge out of his battery and was sucking everything out of the alternator till that fried too. We tried returning it to them and they said, "Oh, sorry, you didn't have us install it, so we can't guarantee it." Needless to say, they got a few colorfull words and we walked out, refund in hand. A new alternator, Optima battery, and a good "real" cap later, and he was on his way again.
