Hi ivant2, my preference for sound quality is a sealed enclosure. Venting a sealed enclosure through the rear deck in your vehicle works very well.

Hi ivant2, the drawing is a just a general idea of the enclosure. The shape can be pretty much whatever you desire when you build it and the box itself doesn't need to be exposed. You can fabricate it out of fiberglass, MDF, Plexiglass, or even Birch plywood if you choose and It can be hidden by custom panels upholstered in your choice of material(s).

You're only limited by your imagination and pocketbook.
