I'm working on my friends 03 Chevy Silverado w/o Bose player. He wants an Amp installed to his OEM radio. I installed Amp already with Remote wire going to Pink wire under steering colum. Now I have installed the 2 channel LOC with rear speaker, My question is what wire do I hook up the LOC Remote wire too ? I would've thought I could use the pink wire I used for Amp but for some reason the car goes haywire.

Most LOCs do not need a remote wire to operate.  What kind of LOC do you have?

Yellow to constant 12 v.  Black to ground.  and the blue wire on the LOC provides remote turn on for your amplifier.  Do not connect anything to the pink wire of the truck.  Pulling too much current through that wire will make the truck go haywire.

From the description of wire colors you gave, that LOC has a signal sensing circuit built into it. It detects audio on the speaker wires of the radio and provides remote output to turn on your amplifiers. You must connect the Yellow wire to a Constant 12Volt source. You must ground the black wire of the LOC. Connect the LOCs remote wire to the remote wire of the amp. Do not connect anything to the pink wire.

O.k. then. According to the color wire specs for the Silverado, Pink is the Amp triggering wire.   Anyway, Where does the remote wire for the Amp go to ?

O.K. I think I might know what your talking about. But if I tap or hardwire the Yellow wire on to Constant as you stated, then won't it always be on ?    Also when you say "ground the Black wire of the LOC" are you talking about hard wiring it to the Black wire on the radio harness? I just want to make sure I understand your directions here.
