i've just purchase 3 pairs of Alpine type R 4 ohm 4 coil over with a  1000.1 bd amp  2003 year model   ..    stats is  1000 rms continue hit  for amp ..

ok  my question is   how can i set 3 of the woofer to 1 ohm or how will i wire it parelle  . will my amp be able to handle the 3 woofer at the same time with out hurting it   on 1 ohm  or should i just set up the woofer as 2ohm  ..

please answer someone

well you can only wire the subs to present a 2.67 ohm load or a .67 load,

I would wire them for a 2.67 load...

yes definately use a 2.67 ohm load, the .67 would probally fry that amp.

that amp should do decently with those subs, they should be getting just about the rms alpine suggests even tho they can take more. but i think you will be happy with those subs.
