Jensen CH4001 CD/receiver -- posted image.Hi folks:  Can anybody tell me what the identity of the 4 RCA outputs are on this unit? I just purchased a new one for my stepdaughter's F150 from FRY's, in the sealed box...and...guess what? Neother the Install Manual, nor the Operation Manual, make any mention of RCA outputs whatsoeverJensen CH4001 CD/receiver -- posted image. And, to add insult to injury, the web site they show on the front of both manuals, www.jensenaudio.com, takes you to a redirect site that has no connection to Jensen that I can find. I am replacing a JVC KD GT5 tuner/CD changer that has only RCA outs. I need to know what are front and what are rear. The harness that comes with it is not marked either. I don't know much about Jensens, but I recall Sony used to use RCA inputs for their changers.  If they're not marked as outputs that may be the case.  If they are outputs, you can check which one is F and R by hooking one pair up(assuming the deck and amps turn on), fading it all the way forward or backward, and seeing which way maintains the sound.

Thanks Chris.

It has a black pair and a gray pair. Black is front/gray rear. The one hitch was the Jensen has no remote amp +12 volt wire. Luckily, the power antenna wire stays hot all the time the HU is on and worked out just fine as a remote amp wire. Aside from the pain in the a** the outboard converter box is, it worked out pretty well. Took me about 30 minutes to do the swap.

Thanks again to all.
