Hey guys, I have been working on upgrading my stereo in my 2001 cavalier, Ive installed aftermarket cd player / Just installed new 6x9's in the rear deck area. Now I got left is my door speakers and Amp install. The question I am needing help with is the wiring to the side post battery, Ive done alot of installs on other cars, New ones I am little caution, I am just needing some idea's of how to get wiring connected to the side post battery for a good connection.  * Note I have all the proper wiring for the amp JBL 360watt 4 channel. Any Idea's or tips would be greatful accepted.

Thanks :)

You should have an accesory "post" that says battery....for a jump.....? Under a red plastic cover....

That where to grab 12 volts from the battery.........If not, go to where the Alternator cable goes into the under hood

fuse box....

you could also get one of them gm side post terminals at any car audio shop, i used to have a cavalier and the aftermarket terminal made it easy.

This is what you will need to connect power wire to a Side post battery.

I use these to upgrade the factory grounds from the battery as well.
