what ohm load do you plan on running the amp @   4ohms  2ohms or 1ohm ?

I don't understand WHY people ask about sound quality when they are planning to run an amp at one ohm. At that load, there IS NO MORE sound quality. Distortion is higher - often times beyond 5% at that kind of load, damping goes to shiite - there goes your vented enclosure control...
At 4 ohms, however, I'd probably say the MMats, though.
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

More important than anything, what sub or subs are you using, what type of box, what is the vehicle? What are you doing for wire upgradeds? The lower you go in impedence, the more you sacrifice the amps ability to control the motion of the driver.
