i dont know too much about what im about to ask....i have a RF p3001 class bd mono amp. I was wondering if i remove it from my subs if i could actually hook it up to 4 speakers, or would i be better off just buying a new amp for them. I know a mono can be made into two channels but i didnt know if you could break it down into 4.....possible? if so, how?

If you look at the specs for this amp on the Fosgate site, it says this amp is a class a/b amp, not digital. However it is a mono amp with a frequency response of 20-20k Hz. So technically if you had four 4 ohm speakers you could present a 4 ohm load to the amp for 150 watts.

Now would I recommend you do this, NO. Get a four channel amp with the proper x-overs and do it right.
