No....not enough amperage....Look at a 2 amp trickle charger, then look at a big dog charger, 200amp quick boost, but not even 20/40 amps continuous.

Don't do it, youll toast your amp.

im looking at the same thing you are trying to do. im trying to run a amp in my house because i have no car(dam) long story. i have don some searching on the form and have found that ac/dc converters seem to do the trick and im thinking about geting a 40 amp cotinuas converter. dont no what you want to do with it. you could be bench testing amps or runing a sub or components in your house. people at shows use them so they dont have to keep there car runing to have there system playing for a long period of time.if you want some quality stuff take a look at this site http://www.astroncorp.com/linear.shtml if you are gust looking for something to run an amp like im thinking about doing. go to ebay and type in the search 12v power source. amp question -- posted image. good luck tell me how everthing gose

add some cables to your amp, hook up the alligator clips from the charger, jump the turn on wire, give it some audio signal......MUSIC.

Low leval listening wiil work for a bit, but don't try and jam  for any extended periods....that chargers gonna get warm...

if you realy want to bench test you are going to have to run it at its full power so you are going to have to suply it with its full amont of amps but what you are implying that you gust want to see if it works. i was talking about finding power rating and amp drow. but for that a charger will work fine.
