anyone know what type of factory system kia uses?what would one need in order to bypass for R/S install?thanks in advance

Fortin make a PATS-KIA-1 bypass. there are others as well.

PASSIVE ANTI-THEFT YES TRANSPONDER   SEE NOTES 
 Equipped with an IMMOBILIZER passive anti-theft system. Please refer to the appropriate diagram before any remote start installation
 12 VOLTS Pink & Orange Ignition switch harness   + 
 IGNITION Green Ignition switch harness   + 
 ACCESSORY Black Ignition switch harness   + 
 ACCESSORY 2 Red Ignition switch harness   + 
 STARTER Green Ignition switch harness   + 
 KEY SENSE Blue Ignition switch harness   + 
 TACH SIGNAL Yellow/black On 30-pin gray plug in driver's kickpanel   AC 
 LOCK Pink/black At BCM on left side of steering column   - 
 UNLOCK Brown At BCM on left side of steering column   - 
 DOORPIN Yellow/orange At BCM on left side of steering column   - 
 HOODPIN Yellow/black At BCM on left side of steering column   - 
 TRUNK PIN Brown At BCM on left side of steering column   - 
 TRUNK RELEASE WHITE/ black At BCM on left side of steering column   - 
 FACTORY ARM Green At BCM on left side of steering column   - 
 FACTORY DISARM Orange At BCM on left side of steering column   - 
 BRAKESWITCH Brown At switch above brake pedal   + 
 PARKLIGHTS Gray (x2) In brown plug on back of fusebox   + 
 Left and right lights are independent. Locate both gray wires and use relays or diodes to power up.
 PARKLIGHTS (-) Yellow/black At BCM on left side of steering column   - 
 HAND BRAKE Blue In brown plug on back of fusebox   - 
 HORN White At steering column   - 
 HEADLIGHTS Orange At BCM on left side of steering column   - 
 REVERSE LIGHTS White On white plug in driver's kickpanel   + 
 VSS WIRE ORANGE / black At BCM on left side of steering column   AC
