I have hooked up a {[metrik 272] by metrikmobile}on my car. Everything works fine,(parking lights flash, shock sensor etc.),
but the siren makes a weak warbled sound when it is hooked up.
if i unhook the siren the system works fine as far as activating and flashing the lights for arm/disarm and triggering.
I have checked and doublechecked the wiring according to the manual.
thanx tak3pchd

Check your grounds for the main unit and the siren

all grounds are good cause they are at the battery negative terminal.
could this be a problem? i mean if all the grounds are too close to each other. i am starting to think the "brain" of the alarm is defective. if so what can i do? the manufacturer does not have much support online. i got this alarm for $35. new. i was looking for a simple alarm. any suggestions.
thanx tak3pchd
