i just bought a remote start alarm (motion tek 8000-r). does anybody know what equipment i need and how to install it. please help.

i installed the alram already. but i am having trouble with the remote starter. the truck does not turn on completely, i press the button and the engine turns on but then real quick it turns off.

What color wires on the vehicle did you connect to the remote start unit?
Did you connect all of the following wires? If not, which ones did you not connect?

i took it to a alarm installer but he did not make it work. can u tell me all the connections that u know about it so he can fix the problem. thanks for helpin

You might want to rethink your choice of shops at this point.
On my last post are all of the wires that are required to remote start the vehicle. The following link includes all of the wires that I know about for putting an alarm in that vehicle.
Look Here Make sure you read the notes at the end of the wiring info.
