Hi i just am installing this alarm 2wss-as, and i am having problems with the trunk and dome light. I did not realize I needed a replay for the trunk pop and i was just hooking the (-) output trunk pop to the negative wire in the car. So anyways I used the relay now and it dont work. I got the relay so it sends a positive 12v to the negative side of the switch in the car and nothing. The relay doesn't even make a sound. I know the relay is hooked up right, did it on other (-) outputs and they work. But did I maybe fry the circuit by directly connecting opposed to using the relay? And the same example goes for the dome light. Thanks

What is the Make/Model/Year of vehicle you are installing the system into? What does your multimeter do when you test the wire?Installer, IT support, and FFL. I need less hobbies.

1995 pontiac trans am. But I did ask compustar now and they said all i need to do is program to make the dome light work. Default it is off, need to turn it on. So that should explain why it does not work right now.
