valet 712t, 1996 toyota t100

The wiring diagram says check with both door pins pushed in/ doors closed, it will not lock or unlock with the doors closed. How do you bypass the door pins so that it will work correctly with the doors closed? Thanks.

your post is too vague. what are you trying to do? we need more info! why do u have to bypass your doorpins?

as ckeeler said you have the wrong wires, the wires as stated in the diagram are blue/white and blue / YELLOW, a most common colour for toyota negative trigger wires, the wires you have are probably the key cylinder wires, you would need to pulse the negative trigger wires from the switch, i don't think i've ever done a toyota of that age and had to depress the door pins to locate the trigger wires, once your switch on the driver controls works with the door open, you should be able to locate the wires in the harness exiting the driver's door, without having to close the doors, or depress the pins.
