So I have this little issue where my standard factory alarm goes off when I remote start the car.  Basically, I have yet to hook in the XK01 module to the car.  The way I attempted to do it, was incorrect - connecting the data wire of the XK01 to the green plug by the fuse box did not work.  Anyone have success completing this?  And can you provide a detailed process that a noob can follow?

Thanks.

And i think the dis-arm is in the door...So if you dont want to give the XK01 another shot...then its time to take the door off...this is the wire you connected to below this paragraph...?? Also what remote start did you use...Does it have D2D connection...If so, data is the only hard-wire connection...Well trunk pop too...Also on some units...You have to change it too D2D in the programming...Not sure if that applies here...But it might help...!
