Hi, just want to say that this is a great site and it seems like there is a lot of knowledgeable people here so I would like to ask a few questions.

It's about installing an Aladdin 2000 into my '92 Nissan 240sx. I put an alarm in my other '90 240sx but that was a bit different than the Aladdin.

My question is do I need to use the starter interrupt relay that was included? I've read about it but I'm not sure how it works and what it does.

I think I need to use it, then my second question would be how do I hook it up? Does anyone know if my car has a second start wire or second ignition?

One last question about using a turbo timer with this system. I have a Greddy FATT, how can I use both the turbo timer and have the alarm work?

Thank You. Aladdin 2000: Starter Interrupt help. -- posted image.

The starter kill relay is not necessary, but what it does is it opens the starter circuit making the thief hot wire your car the old fashioned way. You have 2 starter wires, so you would need 2 relays to accomplish this.

Humm I'm still a little confused. I would need 2 relays? How would I connect them?

Thanks for the wiring diagram.

Hi, I was wondering how to hook up a turbo timer with this system. I have the Greddy Full Auto Turbo Timer, how can I use both the turbo timer and have the alarm work?

I did a searched for help with this but I did not find much.

Thanks

Instead of placing the disable relay on the starter wires, install it on the ignition wire. This will have the same end result.

Thank you for the reply Jeff. Would you be refering to diagram 1 or 2 on page 18 of the Aladdin install manual? Or something different?

Just wanted to make sure.

No, use diagram 6 on page 20 and instead of the starter wire use the main IGN wire in it's place.
