I installed an avital 4103 into a 2006 ford five hundred yesterday. Everything works great except for the ingition controled door locks. I turned them on in menu 1 options 2 and 3 but they dont respond to the ingition.   Any one have any ideas ?
Thanks Joe
P.S
I used the pink / YELLOW for lock and pink/green for unlock in the drivers kick panel. The locks operate fine using the 4103 remote

Manually lock the doors and switch the ignition on then off! Do the doors unlock? Let me know!

Surely that like all of the similar DEI units comes with that feature turned on as default. You may have turned it off!  If not do your door triggers shut down as soon as you close the doors? There, I've given you a clue.

Howie that feature comes turned off as default as far as the door triggers go there is no door triggers hooked up. The 4103 doesnt have any
I tried closing the door letting the dome light go out. Then tried cycling the ing with the doors closed. Both manually locked and manually unlocked they dont respond
any other ideas ? Thanks so far
