I am having trouble programing a new remote (never got one when purchesed vehicle) I can reboot system by removing fuses, jump valet terminal (no buton) but the system will not go into a program mode! any help would be great

thanks, but i have the manual downloaded already. heres a little more info.  If I "reset" the system by removing fuses, it will flash lights untill I press the valet button. when I try to press valet to enter the program mode, I get no results.  Question, at the door open wire should there be 12 volts? i've read on here that it should be grounded?? I have a remote from autoalarmpro.com and it's the one they say is compatable with my system. Basicly having trouble getting into program mode!! Please Help
