I had a viper alarm w/ remote start installed on my 2003 dodge ram. Everything works w/ the viper. The problem is when I arm, then disarm and open my door the factory deal goes off and i have to start the truck to make it stop. It doesnt do it when the truck is remote started then unlocked to open doors (obviously because its running already) guy that installed it wont answer, so he prolly just doesnt know. HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!

It sounds like the factory disarm wire wasn't connected.

bring it back and tell the guy to hook up the factory alarm disarm wire from the unit. thats the only way to prevent it from wailing on you. you paid for a service so have it fixed.
