Purchased keyless entry to Pontiac g6 2008 w/o keyless entry with power door switch.

After review installation manual. Not sure if I can do it.

Open the fuse box in driver’s side compartment, the wire is in a block with fuse on one side and wires in hole of block.

Anybody have an easy approach how to id wires.

Thank You

Follow the KE1702 instructions for a Type B (-) door lock system.  Go to Radio Shack and buy a 1500 ohm resister and use the Bulldog instructions for you cars door locks :  http://www.bulldogsecurity.com/bdnew/vehiclewiringdiagrams.asp   at the bottom of the page.  The White wire in your car is found with the above listed info from Tommy.

Good luck.

If you have a Factory alarm on the car you might have to hook up the FASD wire.

Additionally you can hook up the Parking Light (-) output to the car to flash the lights on lock & unlock.

And if you have an electric trunk pop switch in the car you can attach that wire also to allow remote control of the trunk release.

You will need a Digital Multi- Meter to help you safely locate the correct wires.

Bulldog Security web site has the cars wiring and their Tech Support is pretty good ( expect to be on hold for a while ).

So both the lock/unlock wires from the keyless unit will attach to this White wire in car...Then the 1500 ohm resistor will be placed on the end of the unlock wire of the keyless unit before you connect it...!
