Hey guys. First off, im new and have found ALOT of useful info on this site. My brain is practically fried from reading so much stuff on the internet since getting my new car.
I just picked up an 08 Charger along with a Python 991 alarm/remote start system and Fortin EVO-CHR bypass. Being new to cars in general, I want to get this installed by someone who knows more about car wiring than me.
What exactly should I ask a shop about installing the alarm for me? Is there a certain way my wires should be ran in my car/devices mounted a certain way? Should wires be connected a certain way? (Example: Wires should be soldered and not crimped, correct? And electrical tape = bad?)
I'm scared someone is going to hack up the wires in my car and want to make sure whoever installs my alarm does it properly.
ANY and ALL advice for a noob getting a car alarm installed would be greatly appreciated. My head hurts from Googling. :\
