I have a 97 GMC 1 ton 4 door crew cab pickup. I'm trying to install Bulldog's 6002 alarm system, and I cannot seem to find the door trigger wires. Does anyone know if they are up under the dash, or in the kick panel as I was told by a mechanic?

I am also searching for a lt blue and white wire for the lock/unlock. I cannot find a lt blue or a white that respond to my DMM when lock/unlock is pressed.

This is just about to get the best of me.

It is positive trigger and the wires are located in the kick panel in the wire harness going into the door, or at the large black plug in the kick.

And I'm pretty sure domelight is purple, at the headlight switch. Or you could probably use the white wire at the underdash courtesy light.

Constant 12 volts RED (2) IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS

Ignition 12 volts PINK IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS

Trunk Pin Switch N/A

Parking Lamp BROWN (+) AT HEADLIGHT SWITCH

Power Lock L BLUE DRIVER KICK #203

Power Unlock WHITE PANEL ** #202

* PURPLE (-) Wire Also Located At Headlight Switch. WHITE (-) Wire At Courtesy Light Can Also Be Used But Will Not Trigger Alarm If Dome Lamp Override Switch Is Turned On. ** Without OEM Keyless Entry See Note #203. With OEM Keyless See Note #202. #203- See Reversal Rest At Ground Door Lock Diagram. #202- See Positive Pulse Door Lock Diagram
