Hi,
Firstly thankyou for taking the time to read.
I recently bought a Keetec 8000
All info and manual here http://www.alarmbasen.dk/manual/kopel_keetec_ts8000.pdf
I've followed all instructions, everything generally works....have not attached everything from CN5, (is this compulsory) as finding tach', dome light, engine cut etc... just got frustrating and i dint want to attach the wrong wires..
Remote start is the main problem...doesnt work, i hold power for 2 seconds, the Main unit clicks four times but nothing from the car, absolutely nothing... The ignition harness is wired as instructed, i attached ignition3 to ACC...
Can anyone please help me. Thankyou. I want to at least try before i go to my garage and have them do it. I think I should learn about my car than being ignorant towards it and just paying someone else.
All advice and help is appreciated.
Thankyou in advance.

What have you connected in your car to what on the R/S? Tach is obligatory.
I think you will have 2 starter wires at the ignition and if this is a European model rather than a Japanese import it will need an ignition by-pass. Try hot wiring with key out of the car to verify.
Forget your local garage, the only person able to install this between Central Europe and the US is me.
It looks like a Compustar copy.

Thanks for the reply..
ok so far...
CN1 is connected....with Ignition connected to the gray ACC wire from the ignition harness.
CN2 Also connected...3 (trunk open) and 5 (bypass output) not attached
CN3 Working Perfectly, had a problem with just lock working, now it locks on arm AND unlocks on disarm.
CN4 N/A
CN5 NONE YET (MAIN PROBLEM??)
CN6, 7 and 8 all connected to relevant devices.
Jumpers are all set to minus, as CN5 not connected for sensing yet.
Dip Switches are 1-on 2-off 3-off (noise sensing)
And that is everything so far.
ALL HELP AND ADVICE IS APPRECIATED HOWIE!!
THANKYOU FOR YOUR TIME TO ANSWER.

Interesting install guide.   toyota celica gt 1997 remote start -- posted image.   Gave me a headache.

Here is a link to the Bulldog Security for the wiring on a U.S. market Celica.

http://www.bulldogsecurity.com/bdnew/vehiclewiringdiagrams.asp
Here is a link to DEI for their wiring guide :
http://www.readyremote.com/main.asp?action=select&yr=2142&product=Remote Start&make=Toyota&model=Celica
Compare these to your cars wiring but verify everything with a Digital Multi Meter.

Going by the guide, use IGN3 as the Accessory output but note that the remote starter does not energize

this output for one minute after the remote start.  toyota celica gt 1997 remote start -- posted image.

As for CN5, at the very least, connect Pins 5, 8 & 12 to the proper vehicle wires.  Program for Tach

Mode and do the Tach Learn process.

Also, as Howard pointed out, your car might have a Transponder Immobilizer system with a chip in the

key.  That would require a bypass module.  As a test, hold the ignition key close to the switch & try a remote start.

Soldering is fun!

Driver's strut = suspension tower. Or rear of instrument panel. By the way is this the last shape Celica? If so there's a white plug adjacent to the electrics in the centre console under the radio. Lock unlock, door triggers and indicators.

You have 4 injectors all will have 1 wire the same colour any of the other wires.
Engine management, you will need to know the pinouts.
Back of rev counter.
In each case use a DMM and test.
