I just bought i Avital 4111 one-way remote start and the flash logic bypass module. I installed it in a 02 chevy monte carlo LS and having problems starting it. The remote start clicks when i push the button but never tries to turn over, does this about three times. When i put the key in and turn it to the on position, and press the button it will start right up. I have gone through many times and just can't find where i made the mistake. Any help on where i should look would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Looks good except :

FLCAN

GWR Blue/White to Avital Blue (-) Status Output.

Lock/Disarm  GREEN/ Black --->  Green (-) Lock

Unlock/Disarm Blue/Black ---> Blue (-) Unlock

Check tje ignition harness for a Dark Green wire that tests as Ignition2.  Set the Avital Pink/White wire as Ignition2 and connect to that  The Brown wire you are connected to now should test as an Accessory wire.  If you need it powered, get another 30/40 Amp SPDT relay and use the Avital's Orange (-) Accessory Output as the relays' control.

I switch the wires you said and then tired it. It now starts up but dies right away. I tried switching the tach jumper and re programing it but didn't work.

Did you set the FLCAN to "Standard Hardwired Mode" ( one blink ) and lock it in before programming the bypass to the car?  Might try a Factory Reset, set the Standard Hardwired Mode and then program to the car.

Did you check for that Dark Green Ignition2 wire in the ignition switch harness?

According to this note from DEI, the Brown ACC2 wire might also be needed.

Second Accessory        Brown (power as accessory, or car will not crank)  (+)          ignition harness

After doing the factory reset and then reprogramming it the bypass gives me a "invalid ground when running status from remote starter" i checked the gwr and is connected to the blue status wire and the black ground is connected. i also did try setting it to hardware mode and that didnt help either.

Sorry.  If you are connected W2W between the 4111 and the FLCan, the FLCan should be set to "Standard Mode" which is two blinks.
