I've never had to do any install work on a hybrid before but the day has come!!! Sorry to sound silly but I just don't know what to expect. To top it off, I have a very limited amount of time to do the job in so I won't be able to figure it out for myself.

I need to do a gps with a starter kill on this Prius that has a push button start and I'm looking for feedback on what to do when I verify the ignition circuit and starter kill.

With no key switch to turn what will I need to do? I have the DEI info on the vehicle but I don't know the sequence of events I need to go through to activate the circuits I'll be integrating with.

Will I need to just press the brake pedal and then press the "power/start" button and probe the listed wires to see the typical results?
