i've installed a viper 5701 on my 2006 silverado, used the dball, and hooked it up via d2d. everything seems to be working but i can't get past the first feature in the dball programming (which is rf output)  i need to enable the heated seats which is the third feature, they are disabled by default.

i have been doing

key on

key off

push and hold programming button til orange led

it flashes green, then red

i tap programming button (one time, two times, one hundred times, doesn't matter)

and it stays in the one green flash, one red flash

i can toggle the first menu option with the viper remote (one green flash, two red flash) but can't get past the first menu! am i missing something? is there another way to do this? i bought the dball on ebay and the seller flashed it with the firmware.
