I have a Viper 5104 alarm with the remote start installed 6 months ago. I did not do my home work on this and now would like to upgrade to a Viper 5901 with the temperature sensor built in to cool down my truck in the summer. My questions is do I need to pull out the old alarm and start over or can I use the 5104 wiring harness? The first one was professionally installed.

Thanks Scott

No but it would be a direct brain and control centre swap with a 5904.

I already told you N0!
The 5X04 range are all compatible, the 5901 has different plugs and looms.
