Hello everyone,

I'm installing this unit in a 89 Crown Victoria LTD but, i'm confused about the wiring cause this unit comes w/ 2 harnesses 1-12 wire(primary) , 1-6 wire for the doors. The 12 wire primary harness also has connections for the doors with zones 1,3 next to it. Now my Newbie dumb Question is am i supposed to hook up both of the harnessess together to get these zones that is described in the install manual. I'm glad i found this forum great info. Thanks u for any replies.

Whats up peeps,

I fixed it all now and i'm armed. I figured out the wires and all and i got most of the info here in car database except for one thing, the car info says Door Trigger to be BLACK/ light blue when i found it to be Light GREEN/ YELLOW. I don't know if this is an error and i don't mean to implie that it is after all i think i'm the only one with a 89 Crown Vic 4dr. Maybe its used with a relay i don't know if someone can explain this please do. That wire is there in that big harness behind the Glove Compartment. The BLACK/ Light Blue wire i found to cut off the lights inside under dash and doors. Like i said i'm a newbie who didn't want to pay for installation but, wanted to learn something new plus i'm protecting head unit, 4-spkrs inside car, 2-10's, 2-amps in the trunk. thanks again .
