Definately post an update for us but I can almost guarantee that's your problem..I usually just tie both wires together you can do that if you don't have any relays handy it won't hurt anything. Couse the relay method is considered the "proper" way of doing things..You will run into the 2 starter wires on Nissans often and a couple other random cars as well so keep and eye out and check the info for them first they usually list it.
