Hi, I have a RS1050 remote start add-on and the problem is that it won't try to start.  i have checked the trigger wire on unit (BROWN / yellow) and on car (blue/white),  checked the 2nd ign wire on unit (pink/white) and on car (dark green), and have grounded the brake wire (green). The LED is flashing erratic, one flash, maybe ten after that or a singal flash and five after that...the LED is dim, cannot hardly see it. Is there anything else I need to buy to get this to work?

What unit are you installing and why would you ground the brake input wire ? This requires a (+) signal and also the 2nd ACC ( BROWN ) wire requires hook up as well, otherwise you will experience a no cranking problem. The starter is a YELLOW wire.

Use the PLDATA bypass module for the Passlock bypass on this car.
