security light on w/ resistor use

 i just did the remote start on the chevy express 04 and use resistor to bypass the passlock , and now the security light stay on when driving.

 please tell me if i use the bypass kit will take care of this and which kit  to buy

easiest thing to do is to disconnect those resistors and join any wires you might have cut.
disconnect the battery terminal for about 30 secs,will erase faulty codes.light will turn off.

do like desh said. then after everything is fine go get yourself like the 555L or the plxr from bypasskits.com. both systems work great.

or get a pldata (no cutting) it will work have done about 25 xpresses

 TODAY imade a copied key ,turned  out  it does start the van.I definately gonna need a bypass unit now. I asume ,with this unit ,the copied key will not do the "START"  

 AM I RIGHT?

There is nothing special about the ignition key in the Passlock II system. The system works off a resistance created in the key cylinder when it is turned by the key. VATS works off a resistor in the shaft of the key, while Passkey III systems work off a transponder in the head of the key.
You can use a relay and resistor to temporaily bypass Passlock II. How did you wire it, and how did you determine the resistor value?
