I am hooking up a remote start on this car and need to know how to wire up the "at home" version of the 555U using a relay and 22-24 gauge wire. I know I should use the 555U but couldnt find one in the area and the customer is low on cash.
I need to know if the following will work?
85 + jumpered from purple on starter relay
86 -
87 wire leading to the cylinder wrapped 3 times
30 wire leading to key hidden under dash I am already going to cut the end of the key off making it nonuseable. I just need to know how to set this up.
I have done a search but no one tells you how to wire up the relay. Thanks in advance for your help.
