Does anyone have any experience on installing a TR-10 trunk release from car commmando. Bought it and it came with little to no instructions. A diagram would have been nice.

I don't quite understand the "from scratch". This is what I'm doing... The car has manual doors, so I'm changing that to power doors. Since I'm doing that I want to add a power trunk release.I can figure out the wiring, but I can't figure out how to attach the solenoid to the catch mechanism. I know I have to attach the medal string, but I have a blue clip and a little bar with a nut in the middle. What do I do with that?

you have to get creative on the mounting.....as for the wiring, there will be two wire....one for power and one for ground.....you can ground the motor at the trunk when you mount it.........run the power to the front and tie it into your alarm......
Good Luck
