has anyone had problems with trailblazers auto locking after they sit for 2-3 hrs. after a remote start/keyless unit has been installed? this is the first ive heard of it, i have a customer with a 2004 trailbalzer and we installed a audiovox 686 remote starter and a dei 455g interface module for the door locks. he is claiming that after the truck sits for 2-3 hrs. it will automatically lock, and i guess chevy has told him that this is a problem with trailblazers with aftermarket keyless systems installed on them. i had the truck in the bay yesterday for a few hours and couldnt get the truck to replicate the problem. just figured i would post the question on here and see what feedback i get.

Try two things:

Use a relay to trigger the ground when running wire for the module from the Audiovox unit

Use a relay triggered by the Audiovox's ground out when running wire/status wire/3rd IGN wire to ground.

This seems to be a growing problem with bypass modules where the remote start units are not giving the status wire enough ground and this causes intermittent problems with the modules and the data wire. I have done this to a few older Autostart units and fixed the module errors that were causing problems on the vehicle they were in.
