Driving L.E.D.'s

I want my alarm to drive a total of 4 LED's. The manufacturer said I could only run two without problems. Any electronics guys know how to do this?"Drive it like you stole it"

You mean a Bosch style relay? Wouldn't the current required to drive the relay be more than if I just ran the 4 LEDs in parallel? Maybe you mean a smaller relay?"Drive it like you stole it"

yes..that is what I was thinking..the led's might fry with 12volt..maybe introduce LED to resistor (s) I know you can wire them in series..I just did 2 and it works fine.

I'm concerned about the battery loss and constant "clicking" from the relay just for LEDs. If I run the relay trigger to a constant-when-armed lead from the alarm, is there a way to make the led's flash? I already have two LED's integrated into a very expensive clock/information center and I'm not removing them. Then I saw someone with LED's in the headlight and it looked pretty cool. I was just entertaining the thought, but I know after I drill into the headlight housing it's past the point of no return."Drive it like you stole it"

y dont u just get teh varard alarm flashing led's make your life alot easier comes in all colors and there brighter than most regular alarm led's
