Hi,

I just got this 1999 Chrysler Cirrus very low mileage and want to install a Prostart 3 in 1 Remote Starter, Power door/trunk lock and Security system in it.

My main concern is how to attach the wires from the wire harness supplied with the system to the wires in the car. ( The instructions recommend soldering them) ** Can someone please describe the exact process?

Now when I installed a Cruse Control in my 94 Sundance (I pulled from the wreckers) it was easy, I just had to change a couple of sensors and plug it in. With this unit they have a warning on the installation instructions that only a qualified technician should attempt install the unit.

My plan is to get the Chilton manual and use the installation instructions with it, But any additional information would help.

Thanks,

Mark

Take your time if you are going to try this yourself. Yes the lines must be soldered to ensure a good contact. These lines pass a large amount of current through them. If they are not soldered then over time the connection loosens and makes a very unreliable connection that will leave you beating on the poor car.
Top Secret, I can tell you but then my wife will kill me.
