I have a 2002 mitsubishi Lancer and I installed a MAGICAR 2 WAY LCD remote starter/alarm system. The alarm works fine but It does remote start. It would not learn tach. The installar had hard time in programming the remote. All the wiring diagram are followed and checked many times and the installar is professional. Any Idea how to debug it?? I will be thankful for any help.

thanks

skn

Hi Friends,

I have a Mitsubishi Lancer'02 model and I have installed a Magicar FAI 8100 alarm+ remote starter unit. I can't start the car in the first attempt If I press the start button for more than 3 seconds after arming the car. But If I switch off and again press the start button, it starts the car in the second attempt. And after getting in to the car I can't shut down the engine neither pressing the brakes nor taking out the key. I have to press the start button of the alarm unit to shut down the engine. Any help will be really appreciated.

thanks

santosh
