Hey i have a 1991 Ford Mustang GT and the previous owner ripped out the alarm before selling me the car.  The power door locks now no longer work and i'd like to get it hooked up to the alarm I have now.  Any ideas as to where the would have been spliced for the alarm so I can hook them up again?

Thanx Alot

sounds like they cut the lock and unlock wires and didnt wire them back up....what i would do is try to wire the factory stuff back up and see if it works then go from there...the wire colors r as goes

pink / YELLOW ...lock

pink/green...unlock

they r 5 wire door locks when adding aftermarket system to the mustang.  let me know if u need help with that.....

Where theres is a wire there's a way.

ok heres the deal, i found the pink / YELLOW and pink/green in electrical tape... connected to nothing, i spent almost 2 hours trying to find the other end but no luck.  what i did find was a: red wire, red w/ black stripe, blue, blue w/white, blue w/black (5 wires? none of them connected, just electrical tape on the ends).  the red wires go up to the siren under my hood, and it appears the others are spliced into the giant mess of wires under the kick plate.  its a compustar 2wama-a that i have installed right now (cm3300 module).  By any chance are those all the wires i need to hook up the locks to my alarm?  and if so how? any help would be greatly appreciated.  thanx

Do you know what system he had in there from before ? Also, what are the wire colors that are attached to the ends of the  PINK / YELLOW & PINK/GREEN wires ?

Im not sure what system he had in there before.  and the pink / YELLOW and pink/green wires are just wrapped in electrical tape all the way up under the dash, im prety sure it leads to the switch.. not positive tho.  the b red wires that are going to the siren i assume were put there when i got the alarm installed.. i asked for them to hook up the power door locks for me but they coulnt find where the old alarm was spliced.  now that ive found the pink / YELLOW and pinmk/green i thouhgt maybe i could hook it up.

Best thing to do is Hook ALL Factory wires back together.  Make sure EVERYTHING works and then Install your Compustar.............Who knows ...the location of where the mess is may not be the place you want to install your unit

well the unit is already installed.  its all working fine, just dont have the power door locks hooked up, and it looks like the place where i got it installed already ran the wires for the keyless, they just told me they couldnt find where the old alarm was spliced for the door locks so they couldnt hook it up, but i found those wires
