Hi... I'm in the process of installing a code alarm ca-145 alarm which uses the ca-425a installation module. I have hooked up power, ground, ignition, siren, led/valet button, and door trigger wires. Today I wanted to test out the alarm and program a remote. I tried doing the normal programming sequence, but instead of chirping three times, it will only chirp four or five. This means that I can't get it in to programming mode. I might be doing something wrong, but I'm following the directions and everything seems ok except this problem. Please help me get it into programming mode! I'm puzzled.

Thanks so much

Brian

What kind of car? Are you using the negative or positive door trigger wire?
