Alarm Goes Off Like Clock Work Every 45 m

Yeah it's the GEM module in the truck falling asleep the thing sets a pulse down the door trigger lines which the alarm reads as someone opening the doors so here's how to fix it.

what is happening is your alarm is false triggering cause on the new fords and the gem module shuts down I believe and inturn the alarm thinks the doors get opened, that is why your alarm is going off

you have to get each door trigger wire seperately and diode isolate

if you don't have factory keyless, left front door is BLACK / YELLOW and right front door is BLACK/ pink, these wires are located in the driver kick panel gray plug pin22 and 23

if you have factory keyless all wires are found in the BCM, left front is BLACK / YELLOW, right front is BLACK/ pink, left rear is BLACK/ lt.blue, and right rear is black.white

all wires have to be diode isolated

or try this.

open driver door. turn the ignition on

hit unlock on the door switch 3 times

turn the ignition off.

hit unlock 3 times

turn the ignition on hit unlock 2 times.

the horn should honk if it works

this is a code from ford to shut off the GEM module and keep your problem from happening. It doesn't work on all fords so it may not work on yours.
