Hello, guys.
I just installed (well I don't know if this counts) a viper791vx alarm in my 95 civic. It opens and closes the doors and everything else ok, chirps and flashes...but I can't disarm the starter kill. Everytime I hit disarm, the doors open, i hear 4 chirps, the led flashes 3 then 2 then 3 ...., the remote says the doors and shock are going off, and the starter kill is still active. When I arm it again then disarm it keeps doing this. Please help me, I am begging you.
(note that I had the battery disarmed for a while and when I reattached it, the alarm worked fine, but now it does this)

Hi!  Make sure you did not reverse the ACC and the IGN wire     ACC is yellow          IGN is BLACK / YELLOW

Nah, I got the car started right after I connected the battery. It makes a ticking sound off the starter kill when I try to start it now. I didn't touch any other wire after starting it the first time.

Uh, thanks for the help, but how could I start the car the first time if I did that? And why would the alarm go berzerk now? I figure I must have put it into some funny mode or the brain is screwed up. Anyone know what the code for 3...2...3...2 is when I disarm?

those flashes let u know what zones have been triggered in the alarm brain....like the doors or shock senor or ignition....like jacqueslacombe said if u taged the right ignition wire... then when u turn the key on the flashing lights will go away......sounds like u dont have the right wires.....where did u get ur wire diagram?

Where theres is a wire there's a way.

I used the honda factory manual. I might have screwed up though. I will check it tomorrow. The thing is it sends these codes when it is disarmed yet the alarm doesn't go off when it is armed. I'll check it again. Thanks.

I interupted the BLK/WHT wire with starter kill and got the ORG going to the YEL. I got the RED and RED / WHT going to the WHT.

I still don't know why the thing is giving me the 4 chirps and saying the doors and shock are going off everytime I disarm when it doesn't even sound an alarm. If I try to open the door when it is armed it sounds so the siren works. Please help.

Do you have the pink wire hooked up to anything?  If not that could be why the alarm is doing what it's doing.  Pink should be hooked to BLACK / YELLOW in the car, as if there's a white black in the car hook the pink/white up to that one.  It's the second accy which may not be in that civic I don't remember no diagram for the car in front of me right now.  One  more thing make sure you have the green wire of the starter kill hooked to the key side of the BLACK/ white wire and purple to the other side.   Later

Cause I'm So white and nerdy...
