Recently installed a remote start and a PLZAP Bypasskit bypass in a 2004 Silverado. Everthing works fine except the security light stays on all the time. I think I figured out that this Bypass is the wrong one. Which should I be using....PLJX Bypasskit or DEI model or what?????  Thanks!

Did you understand I used a PLZAP??? According to the bypasskit.com web site, it's not listed to be used with the 2004 Silverado...so I'm looking for an alternative. With the PLZAP, the security light will not go off even if I use the key because it's not overiding the VATS as well...according to what I have read. The guy who sold it to me sold me the wrong one!!

457G or 555L or 556L or PLJX or XK01.....

any of these will work and be correct.....

Installed remote start. Used Bypasskit PLZAP bypass..Works fine except Security light stays on even when using just a key to start.....will changing bypass to a PLJX Bypasskit solve the problem? The supplier of the PLZAP says to try wiring it to the Neg. on relay pack so it won't drop out during cranking and this will solve my problem. I've ordered the PLJX anyway. Thoughts?
