I want to buy a Varad LED to connect into my truck.  I have a Python alarm system that currently powers a the Python LED, but I want one that's blue and alot brighter (like Varad).  The Varad LED has two wires coming fron the LED into a control box (that controls the blinking and stuff) and then the control box has a positive, a ground, and a switched wire.  My questions is:  How can I connect a Varad light to my Python alarm so that the Python controls the blinking instead of the Varad control box?  I would like to be able to see the status of my alarm on the Varad LED.  Can I cut off the control box from the Varad LED, connect the positive wire into a power wire on my truck, and then have the negative going into the Python alarm?  I have no clue what I'm talking about so any help is appreciated!!!

I've considered that, but I want a LED that is much brighter (like a Varad). The shop installed the LED near the steering column, and since it's so dim, it can only be seen from the driver's side. I think if it was brighter, it would be seen from all sides.
Is it possible to connect a brighter LED to my Python alarm system while still being able to have the LED display the alarm diagnostics? I could relocate the light, but I would prefer to keep it in the hole that was already drilled.
Thanks

But is it the actual LED that is brigher or is it the Clifford alarm that puts out more power to it's LED? I mean, is that all I have to do is hook up a Clifford LED into my Python alarm?
