I have an Ungo SR5000 alarm/remote start. I want to get another 2 way remote. It's a DEI 477T remote. I found a Valet remote which has the exact same info on the back (FCC code and model #477T). Will this work for my Ungo? Thanks!

The reason why I was asking is because when I try to configure the remote by using the open door, ignition on and valet button. Nothing happens. The LCD screen is lit up and it shows it's trying to ,make a signal output, but my alarm won't pick anything up. My Ungo 477T remote configures fine though. Is there something I need to do to the remote if its not had a battery in it for some time? Should it only beep when and if the car alarm reads its signal? It makes no noise so I'm thinking that there's no real output!!! DEI 477T 2 way remote -- posted image. Is there a test to check remote output?

My Ungo alarm has an Ungo remote that is a DEI477T 2 way LCD. That's a DEI remote!!!!! I just read where my remote has a 434 MHz output. I just need to see if the Valet 554R (also a DEI477T remote) has the same output.

I bet Ungo found it less expensive to buy the remote from DEI. Elaewhere on here someone says the Valet 554R remote has a 433 MHz output. The Hornet 554T has a 434 MHz output (my Ungo SR5000 says it has a 434 MHz also).. Would that 1 MHz make a difference? I'm still trying to find a Valet 554R manual to make sure it has a 633 MHz output. Thanks for all your help!!!

I didn't typr that last part correctly. I meant a 433 MHz and not 633 MHz!

The ungo is tough to find and it's over $120. I bought the Valet that I said earlier has the same info on the back, but it won't program.
