It depends.
--If it has a factory alarm system, and BOTH front windows have the auto-down feature, it is a data system.
The key cylinder in the exterior of the front door sends ground signals to the power window switch, and then the window switch communicates to the body-control module via data.
In this case, you have three choices as to how you're going to control the locks:
1. Run wires into the door.
2. Buy a doorlock module from bypasskit.com.
3. Go to the carsound.com security forum, do a search for "nissan bcm," and you will learn a special trick.
--If it has no factory alarm, and ONLY one auto-down window, it is different. The regular lock and unlock wires run directly from the door to the BCM, and you can easily get them at the BCM, with no extra special parts.
