Good evening 12V experts, I come this forum hopefully for some resolution!

I have used the search function extensively with negative results.

I have a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 Hemi (FIRST MISTAKE IN ALARM INSTALL 101) and installed the Clifford RSX 3.5 the other day.

Included in this install is the 530T / 508D / 556

Everything works except for this little nagging problem, when I remote start the truck and then get in and turn key on and disengage the alarm I get idiot lights like crazy!!  Including the "ABS" and "BRAKE" light.  Now start the truck with regular key no problems at all..

I did see something about a Diesel Install that mentioned idiot lights; however I did not know if that applied to this application..

Any help would be great.. Look forward to learning a lot from you folks..

Alien..

Sounds like you might not have all of the ignition wires powered up, or they're not being powered at the right time.

12volts lt. blue/red (2A)  +  ignition harness
Starter dk. GREEN/ YELLOW  +  ign harn or starter button (SRT-10)
Second Starter PURPLE / brown  -  ignition harness
Notes: The second starter wire is negative trigger thru an 180 ohm resistor. MUST use a relay. Refer to DirectFax document 1084 for wiring information.
Ignition pink/white  +  ignition harness
Second Ignition N/A
Third Ignition N/A
Accessory same as second starter wire  -  ignition harness
Notes: The accessory wire is negative trigger thru a 610 ohm resistor. MUST use a relay. Refer to DirectFax document 1084 for wiring information.
Second Accessory N/A

You're second starter and second accessory wires how did you tie into them?  Like it says in the document in the link below?

http://www.directechs.com/techtips/pdfs/resources/security/directed_techtips/1084.pdf

If not I would start with those as the problem with your idiot lights

Cause I'm So white and nerdy...

Yes the installer followed the TECHTIP1084 document, I was sitting in the passenger seat like an annoying customer would.. LOL

But yeah I watched him hook up two relays and all, he is going to call DEI on monday; however I was hoping to get some good answers here first..
