I have a customer with a 2005 subaru legacy 2.5gt it has a transponder key. He had no owners guide and the dealership will not tell me if I can program a 3rd key off of the first 2. I need to know if it can be done and if so the procedure. This will be greatly appreciated.

Just a foot note was going to use the subdl-pk but after receiving them I find you need a subaru scan tool to assist in programming the transponder part of the bypass. Is it beer thirty yet?

You need a Subaru scan tool to program the module. Without one, you are out of luck. The customer should have received 3 keys if they bought the car new. 2 regular keys and a valet key.
